How should my pub interact with Dublin Does Fridays?

There are many ways that you can interact with us. Some of these include:

1. Make sure your pub is on the map. If not, set up your pub?s facebook place page.
2. Customise and print posters, flyers and tent cards in the POS section
3. Create a facebook profile picture in the POS section
4. Update your pubs info and special features for your profile on the buzz map
5. Create promos for your pub
6. Like the Dublin Does Fridays Facebook Page and leave a comment
7. Set up your pubs twitter account and get tweeting
8. Upload pictures from your pub to our ?Spotted Section?

Why is my pub not on the ?Buzz Map??

- If you?re pub is not on the map you may not have a Facebook Place page already set up. We need the place page to show us the exact location of your pub on the map. You will need to set one up by following the tutorial in our ?Social Toolkit? ? https://www.dublindoesfridays.ie/tutorials/setting-up-a-facebook-place/

-Alternatively there may already be one set up by one of your customers. Although this page has not been set up by you, it is still rightfully yours and you can claim it. Open the page and click ?is this your business?. Follow the prompts and enter the relevant details.

I want to use our own Facebook page instead of the place page that?s listed?

-The page that is listed is the Facebook place page. We need the place page as opposed to your business page in order to get your pub to appear on the map.

-In order to direct people to your business page from your pub?s profile you will need to merge your Facebook place and page together. There are instructions on how to do this here. Please refer to step eight: http://www.dublindoesfridays.ie/tutorials/setting-up-a-facebook-place/

How do I create a customised DDF profile pic for my Facebook page?

Click on ?Point of Sale? and you?ll see ?Facebook Profile Pictures?. Customise, create and download the picture before uploading it to your Facebook page.
